This page collects one thing from you — an email address — and measures how people use it. Here is exactly what that means.

Who we are
Poolz is made by Halcyon, which is the controller of the data described here. For anything on this page, write to hello@poolz.example.
What we collect
Your email address, when you choose to give it to us, along with the page address you arrived on and a record of which version of these terms was live at the time.
How the page is used: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, how far you scroll, and how you interact with the example ticket. This is tied to a random identifier, not to your name.
Technical detail your browser sends anyway: browser, operating system, device type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. We do not store your IP address ourselves.
Session recordings
We record how visitors move through this page — scrolling, clicks, and mouse movement — and replay it to understand where the page is confusing. This is a reconstruction of the page, not a video of you or your screen.
Text you type into any field, including your email address, is hidden before the recording leaves your browser. We never receive it.
We use these recordings only to improve this page, and they are deleted on a rolling basis.
Why we are allowed to
We email you because you asked us to. You can withdraw that at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by writing to us.
We measure how the page is used because we have a legitimate interest in knowing whether it works. If you would rather not be measured, most browsers offer a do-not-track or tracking-protection setting, and we honour it.
Who else sees it
Kit, our email provider, stores your address and sends you our email.
PostHog, our analytics provider, stores the usage data and the session recordings.
Vercel hosts this page and keeps standard server logs.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Usage data and recordings for a limited period set in our analytics account, after which they are removed automatically.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to us measuring your use of the page, and you can withdraw consent to our emails at any time.
Write to hello@poolz.example and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this notice materially, we will say so here and, where it affects what you agreed to, ask you again.
